Sometimes, we focus too much on the decisions we wish we could change that we forget to appreciate what those decisions gave us. I used to think that choosing the wrong path meant that I had already made a mistake that could not be fixed. But as I continue through college, I realized that not everything has to happen exactly the way we planned.
I may still be contemplating and have what-ifs about my decisions, but I also enjoy the lessons and experiences that I gained from this program. I learned to value and appreciate the moment you have because the universe will not put you where you’re right now if you can’t do it. Life is not always about making the perfect decision; sometimes, it’s about making the most out of the choice you already made.
Maybe I am still figuring out what I want to do in the future, and that is okay. I do not have everything figured out yet. For now, I want to appreciate where I am, the people around me, and the things that make me happy. Despite regrets and uncertainties, there are still many reasons to believe that life can be beautiful.
